Colonial Restaurant officially opened its door for business in 2007. Taking cognizance of the increasing demand for Hainanese food, we ventured into serving this ethnic group’s delectable food, Penang style. However, in order to cultivate a loyal following of customers, we spare no effort and expense in ensuring the ingredients are of the freshest and finest of quality.

We, to complement the scrumptious Hainanese food on offer, have purchased a 3 storey building and decorated it tastefully to provide all our diners the ambience befitting the standard of food served. Needless to say, we have gone out of the way to ensure there is good service to match.

The head chef at Colonial Restaurant has behind him more than 30 years of experience working in various restaurants along the tenure receiving praises for his vision in creating food which leave a lot of customers coming back for more.
Included in our menu are western food items, noodles along with the traditional Hainanese fares which are not only original in taste but cooked to perfection, satisfying the most discerning of our customers’ taste buds. Our desserts are also items all should not miss.
